Project Metallurgist (Chrome Operations)

CANDIDATE PROFILE (MIN REQUIRTEMENTS)

• BSc / BEng in Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering
• 5 years’ experience in mineral processing design with strong exposure to Chrome beneficiation and PGM flotation circuits
• Proven experience in project environment (PFS to commissioning)
• Strong metallurgical fundamentals, strong problem solving and analytical skills, project execution mindset, risk based decision making, clear technical communication, strong stakeholder management ability

RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

• On site data collection for process optimisation
• Implement quality improvement initiatives
• Oversee implementation of new technologies and support operations
• Oversee metallurgical test work/development programs
• Completion of scoping and feasibility studies
• Project management during technical projects execution
• Deliver technical reports
