Logistics Coordinator (Mining Operations)

Our Mining client based near Lebowakgomo in Limpopo is seeking the services of a Logistics Coordinator

RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

• Manage inbound and outbound logistics, including delivery scheduling, material handling, and transport coordination.
  Supervise site warehousing, stock control, and inventory management systems.
• Ensure timely availability of equipment, consumables, and critical supplies.
• Liaise with suppliers, transport contractors, and internal departments to ensure logistics efficiency.
• Enforce safety, compliance, and documentation procedures for all logistical operations.
• Monitor costs and optimize logistics workflows to support operational readiness.

CANDIDATE PROFILE?

• Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of logistics or supply chain experience, preferably in a mining or construction environment.
• Strong knowledge of transport regulations, inventory systems, and warehousing best practices.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and logistics/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Syspro).
• Valid driver?s license and experience managing a logistics team
