Junior Mining Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
• Assist in short and medium term mine planning and design
• Support drilling and blasting and production scheduling
• Monitor production performance, ore quality and grade control
• Track costs, productivity and process improvements
• Ensure safety, health and environmental compliance
• Prepare and maintain engineering reports and plans
CANDIDATE PROFILE (MIN REQUIRTEMENTS)
• BSc in Mining Engineering (essential); Honours (advantageous)
• Minimum 2 years’ on-site mining experience, preferably in Chrome or similar commodities
• Valid South African driver’s license
• MS Office (Advanced), knowledge of Datamine beneficial
• Valid Code B Driver’s License
• Strong communication, planning, leadership and time management skills
