Weighbridge Clerk (Mining Operations)

CANDIDATE PROFILE (MIN REQUIRTEMENTS)

• Grade 12 or equivalent; additional training in administration or logistics is an advantage.
• 2?3 years of experience in a weighbridge, logistics, or mining environment.
• Strong attention to detail and good numerical skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and weighbridge software/systems.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work shifts and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate the weighbridge to record weights of chrome ore, materials, and vehicles entering and leaving the site.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all weighbridge transactions.
• Issue weight tickets and verify against delivery or dispatch documents.
• Liaise with drivers, logistics personnel, and site supervisors to ensure smooth traffic flow and compliance.
• Perform basic data entry and generate daily and monthly reports.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and site access control procedures.
