SHEQ duties and responsibilities

  • Assume all 2.6.1 Responsibilities and accountabilities
  • Presenting morning Line-ups and other awareness campaign
  • Assuring compliance to Safety Interaction, SWP and PTO’s
  • Reporting all incidents and investigating
  • Auditing 2.9.2 file and compliances
  • Review Safe Work Procedure and Code of Practices
  • Weekly inspections
  • Regular feedback (reports)

Effective operations

  • Weekly/Monthly Reviews
  • Generate & submit report to client(s)
  • Corrective action to address deviation(s)
  • Seek reductions & discounts
  • Communicate results
  • M-Project fleet management and compile reports.

 

Effective HR Administration

  • Authorising – overtime worked
  • Action on non- conformers training status
  • New personnel records – site specific induction
  • Record RTW interviews, exit interviews & disciplinary procedures
  • Address all personnel contract status
  • Carry out all accommodation requirements
  • Conducting KPI’s for Surface personnel

  • Coaching and training on all relevant systems Surface
  • Liaison with the client – budget cost and production
  • Compile RCA reports and continuous trend breakdown

Scheduled Meetings:

MONTHLY – Contractor Management SHEQ meeting

Qualifications
• Grade 12
• N3 Trade theory
• Related Trade Certificate
• Related National Diploma will be an added advantage.
• 10 years related experience in the mining industry
• 10 years’ experience working with mobile equipment’s.
