Production Plant Supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS
National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or N6 in Mechanical Engineering.
Valid code 08 driver’s license.
Experience:
Two to three years proven experience in a supervisory role within a
manufacturing/production environment.

PERFORMANCE AREAS

Supervise and coordinate daily production activities in the Calcination and
Blending Plants to meet production targets.
Monitor and optimize plant performance, ensuring adherence to quality and efficiency standards.
Lead, train, and manage production staff, ensuring proper shift handovers and workforce discipline.
Enforce safety protocols, conduct risk assessments, and ensure compliance with OSHA and company regulations.
Implement and uphold company policies, procedures, and best practices.
Troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues, coordinating with maintenance teams when necessary.
Maintain accurate production records and reports.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce downtime.
Hands-on production experience in a manufacturing environment (essential).
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Familiarity with safety regulations, quality control, and lean manufacturing principles.
