RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assisting the company with relevant tasks set out by various teams, such as research, data capturing, and working closely with different team members to learn more about the company and how to apply their knowledge
• Performing clerical duties
• Adherent to all Health and Safety requirements by working according to all relevant standards
• Perform general tasks by adhering to any reasonable instructions
• Adhere to the MHSA and Regulations, OSHACT, COP’s and SOP.
REQUIREMENTS
• Unemployed South African Citizens with no formal work experience in the field of
application– attach ID to application
• Grade 12 – attach to application
• Relevant University Degree (NQF Level 7) or newest final year transcript –
attach to application – BTech / Beng / BSc: Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronic Engineering
• Driver’s license – attach to application
• Medically fit
• Computer literate (Excel, Engineering Software – advantage)
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Organization/Scheduling/Prioritizing
• Professionalism and Confidentiality
• Eagerness to learn and develop technical competence.
To provide structured workplace exposure and training for graduates allowing the
interns to apply their academic knowledge in real world settings. This role provides
practical exposure to Trackless Mobile Machinery (TMM) used in Opencast Mining,
supporting diagnostics, maintenance, project planning, and implementation of
engineering tasks under supervision.
