Key Responsibilities
Oversee and coordinate site services and general maintenance activities
Ensure the effective operation of site infrastructure, including pumps, pipelines, and related systems
Conduct routine inspections, including pump checks, diesel dips, and general equipment condition monitoring
Maintain site standards by ensuring proper signage, boards, and safety controls are in place
Identify and address issues such as pipe leaks, road crossings, and service line integrity
Supervise and manage general workers, ensuring productivity and adherence to safety standards
Assist with hands-on maintenance and repairs as required
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards at all times
Minimum Requirements
Recognised Trade Qualification (Electrical / Millwright or similar) – essential
Minimum 15 years’ experience in mining or heavy industry, preferably within an opencast environment
Strong practical and technical ability with a hands-on approach
Proven experience in supervising teams, particularly general workers
Good understanding of mining safety standards and procedures
Ability to identify and resolve maintenance issues proactively

Our mining client based near Rustenburg is seeking a services Forman to join their team in the maintenance department
Preference will be given to candidates who meet the minimum criteria and reside within our host labour sending area of Royal Bafokeng Nation and Rustenburg Local Municipality.
