Logistics Coordinator – Mining

RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
Manage inbound and outbound logistics, including delivery scheduling, material handling, and transport coordination.
Supervise site warehousing, stock control, and inventory management systems.
Ensure timely availability of equipment, consumables, and critical supplies.
Liaise with suppliers, transport contractors, and internal departments to ensure logistics efficiency.
Enforce safety, compliance, and documentation procedures for all logistical operations.
Monitor costs and optimize logistics workflows to support operational readiness.

CANDIDATE PROFILE (MIN REQUIRTEMENTS)

Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of logistics or supply chain experience, preferably in a mining or construction environment.

Strong knowledge of transport regulations, inventory systems, and warehousing best practices.

Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Proficient in MS Office and logistics/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Syspro).

Valid driver’s license and experience managing a logistics team
