  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Requisitions: Accurately raise requisitions, obtaining approval for selection of suppliers & intercompany transactions.
  • Invoice Processing: Accurately process supplier invoices, ensuring they match purchase orders and delivery notes.
  • Payment Processing: Prepare and execute payment runs, ensuring all payments are made within agreed terms.
  • Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile supplier statements with company records, identifying and resolving queries.
  • Record-Keeping: Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of all creditor transactions. Load BBBEE certificates and all other Ad relevant to the creditors department.
  • Supplier Relations: Handle queries and disputes from suppliers, maintaining positive relationships.
  • Compliance: Ensure all financial transactions comply with company policies and relevant regulations.

 

  • Qualifications & Experience:
  • Diploma or certificate in accounting, finance, credit management, or a related field
  • Proficiency in accounting software – Sage; Orb – fusion
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical skills for resolving discrepancies and reconciling accounts.

  • Communication Skills: Needed for interacting with vendors and other stakeholders.
  • Organizational Skills: Crucial for managing large volumes of transactions and documentation.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with accounting software and financial systems.

 

  • Experience:
  • Previous 5yrs+ experience in a similar role is a requirement – not negotiable
  • Experience with financial software and systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accounts payable, ensuring accurate processing of invoices, timely payments, and maintaining good relationships.
