Training Facilitation

• Facilitate various training sessions as required to upskill staff Train mentees / employees as per training requirements of sites

Mentor Responsibilities

• Provide opportunities and guidance that enable the transfer of information / skills
• Monthly review of set goals and objectives

Assessments

• Compile training material and assist various disciplines with training material i.e., COP and SOP’s in line with scope
• Monthly assessment and scoring of mentees based on KPA’s
• Assess mentorship and training effectiveness, and revise training needs based on gaps identified

Administration and Record Keeping

• Recordkeeping of all sessions, training material
• Training needs, gap analysis and reporting on assigned section / mentees
• Capture and report quality data for record keeping

Minimum Requirements:

• National Senior Certificate
• Diploma in Training / Development Practices
• Assessor, facilitator and moderator certificates
• Valid drivers’ license
• Proven 8 years’ experience within the open cast mining industry

Knowledge / Competencies /Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• PC proficient including Microsoft Office
• The ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines
• Must be well organised and system orientated
