Introduction
Our Mining client is currently seeking a Training Officer to join their Training Team. The main function of the Officer would be to train and evaluate all TMM Operators.
Duties & Responsibilities
Testing and assessment (Theory and Practical) of all machine operators
Conduct safety compliance training on site
Re-train operators if operating skills are not to standard
Completion of relevant documentation once operator is found competent/ or not yet competent
Record findings on computer program and forward to the Senior Training Officer
Desired Experience & Qualification
Grade 12
Computer literate
Valid driver’s license
Must be medically fit to work in mining environment
NQF level 5 Assessor Certificate
5-8 years’ experience in earthmoving and lifting equipment
Previous mining on-site experience would be benefical
Safety experience preferably in mining environment
